Issue
Danone started the business in Romania in 1997 and the local production 2 years later. Danone is the dominant leader of the fresh dairy market (FDP: yoghurt, traditional products and milk based desserts) acknowledged as such even by consumers.
In all these years, Danone contributed significantly to the category development, establishing the fruit yoghurt segment (Delicios, Frutisima), being the first to launch dairy with specific health benefits (Activia, Actimel, Danonino).
Danone Romania decided to develop a corporate website to create proximity with Danone stakeholders, mainly consumers and media (but also medical community, suppliers, trade partners, potential job candidates) and also to communicate to the consumers the company mission and values.
Solution
The website was built to offer information for all types of visitors: end users, resellers, press, employees.
For the website, to maintain its flexibility as the information on it was growing, Retina implemented the Webalive Content Management System. In one minute the client can easily add in new pages, new articles or new job positions for people who want to join the company. In the next minute the visitors can read the information about the history of “Danone”, can apply for different positions inside the company, can get in touch with new products and campaigns that the company provide.
Working with the user-friendly interface that Webalive CMS comes with, the client can easily: add new press releases, add new products, add new campaigns and new job positions and connect them to the “Cariere” area of the website, basically edit the entire content of the site.
The newly gained flexibility enlarged the client’s view and approach on their marketing efforts, campaigns are now being thought and prepared for online too.
