About

Michael Port is the author of Book Yourself Solid. He lectured, trained, inspired, and provided coaching and consulting services to over 20,000 business owners. He's also a contributing author to Success Secrets of the Online Marketing Superstars and Guerrilla Marketing for Job Hunters.

Michael Port’s “Book Yourself Solid” is a system for teaching people how to get clients with marketing and selling innovative strategies. The system comprises the following: the book, group coaching, private coaching, free online resources, affiliates, etc.

Challenge

In 2006,  “Book Yourself Solid” took a big leap forward with the successful lauch of the book with the same name.

The launch of the book meant a lot of publicity and Michael Port wanted to make the most out of this publicity. Of course the site needed to be at the center of the book launch and promotion and also the place for people to come back and be converted from book readers to training participants.

Business Solution

This complex and valuable system needs a powerful marketing and selling strategy online and offline.

For the offline efforts we created:
- business cards, letterhead, envelopes
- presentation folder
- insert sheets for presentation folder
- thank you cards
- post cards
- icons for the printed book
- media kit

All materials were branded with Michael’s picture and BYS’s colors, being in the same time unitary regarding the proposed design line, which was fresh, professional and engaging.

On the Internet, we started with designing the website, the main challenge being to guide all types of visitors to each one’s area of interest. We created several places for menus, a full detailed menu in the footer of the website, site map, and custom icons to visually explain the services and the site’s areas.

Than we created customized post-its and set them up within WebMarketingSales, for Michael to use them on all his websites whenever he wanted to send a special message to his visitors and clients.

We set up and customized the design for Typepad blog and for Moodle, in order to help Michael manage his courses, participants, resources and interactivity.

We are continuously working with Michael, on BYS and on his other programs (The Product Factory, Traffic School System, Think Big Revolution) to help him have the most powerful and full of results branding he can have.
